Feel weary and teary that my ROH appt on Friday was not to see Scoliosis Specialist but Pain Management ..Referrals messed up AGAIN...

Was shocked that on checking in at ROH my first time there that i did not have the right appointment referral despite being informed i had....Saw nicePain management person i had seen in November at local hosp. She didn't quite believe that A)i hadn't received Facet Joint injection and B) I hadn't had an appt for this injection come thru..Thankfully my daughter was with me and confirmed what i was saying as i was so frustrated and started to become emotional...this palavva has been ongoing since last June...and am mightily weary of hearing what should be happening and its not.

OK rant over....

Was informed to go back to G.P. to see if he can investigate whats gone on and Pain Management will contact my local hosp to see where i am on the Priority List. Meanwhile she wanted to up the dosage of meds and i said No Thank You as, if i want to stay in my part time job, (am only just able to get up on 3 mornings at 7ish and feel like lead and so drowsy...) I wouldn't be able to stay in work which i need to...

THANK YOU ....JUST HAD CALL AND HAVING THE DAY PROCEDURE ON THURSDAY...so whatever the Pain Management Specialist said she was going to do re investigating why i had not rec'd the injection...has worked...

Its not at my local hospital but can get there in a taxi....Cross fingers and toes that a) it doesn't get cancelled and b) the injection works for me...
