I had mine the week before last and, thanks to all your good advice was not nervous at all . The independent assessor was, fortunately, a physiotherapist, after a few minutes talking she decided that she need not give me a physical examintion. My ID was enough, best of all I had my bus pass with me and that seemed to count for a lot . She took me for a walk outside with my rollator and it hardly seemed very long at all before she said it was far enough. Mind you, it was bitterly cold and she didn't seem to be wearing really warm clothes. Got my letter yesterday and all I had to give was my NHS number and my bus pass number, photo and a cheque, so all posted and I hope to get the Blue Badge in the new year, Yipee Doo ! Polly x
