Swollen finger

Hi, I'm new.

I hurt my finger in a car door and I have no idea what my pharmacy are going to say can any give me any advice

Did you have an x-ray on your finger I have shut my finger in my car door and I broke it. I had to go to a doctor(the kind of doctor the deals with broken bones) he had to set it so that it would be straight so when it heals it would be straight.

It is not pain full, but is something you should do. I am not being a doctor but just a person who did this before.

No I can't go to the hospital for a busted finger really!

What happens if it's broken, will I get a cast on my knuckle of my index finger lol!

What can I buy to put on it so I can't even see into a small like cut like it's infected by the door onto it.

And I have to be careful right?

I write with that hand and what can I buy from boots pharmacy and what do i get?

Well after I found out that I did have a broken finger they put the broken finger in to a splint then taped my four fingers together for i think at least 7 Days then they brought it to 3 fingers then 2 fingers I have to let you know this happened little over 19 years ago when my youngests was under a year old he is now 20 years old I am just lucky I didn’t have him with me I slipped on ice and I believe that is one reason I had an

X-ray. I hyperextended my ring finger when I fell.

The other reason I had to find out what I t you may did was I was changing diapers Oh joy oh bliss it wasn’t a have it on good time. I haven’t looked but I would think maybe If you google it may be it’s on u tube just saying but if you go to a doctor you would be better off.

How bad is your finger do you have a cut if you do did you clean it up really good because you don’t need it infected. Are you sure it’s broken and. Can you put your hand on table and have your fingers lay flat if you can’t you may want to go to a sports doctor they usually have an x-ray

When did you damage your finger ? If it's very swollen then a doctor is necessary as if it's broken it may need to be splinter to hold it straight whilst it heals.

I just let a little finger heal itself years ago. It's now lumpy and gets very sore at times. Arthritis.
