Does anyone else suffer from this. Has anyone found anything that helps? It's got to the point where I spend hours each day curled up in a ball with the pain

I find wearing a neck brace helps. Also at night I wrap a fleece scarf around my neck to support my jawbone to try and ease the pain, so I rest my head on my side. I take morphone and other pain meds but nothing takes the pain away sadly. It is frustrating.

You should talk to your doctor about this. I suspect your doctor will prescribe Gabapentin.

Thanks for the response. But I have tried 4 different tablets inc Gabopentin. Plus a course of acupuncture prescribed by the pain clinic. Pain clinic have discharged me, as they no options left.

Another idea is that it's being caused by TMJ.
