Head way at last?

So to anyone who occasionally reads my blogs, just another week with banging headaches, so eventually got to see my doctor, and he decided after nearly 5 weeks to organise a cat scan, now as I've explained I've had these headaches before last year for nearly 3 months, so I'm wondering can these scans tell whether you suffer with a migraine type of headaches? The problem with these headaches is I'm getting 3/4 a day, and it's now giving me a different type of headache through sheer tiredness, bit of a nightmare but hopefully things moving in the right direction.

Gee thanks Grace, think I might of made a little mistake about how I interpreted the "blog," statement, I thought that everyone who writes something uses that word, however I'm always looking or writing in the forum so a bit like you we always try and give good honest advice and just a thank you often makes people feel better, so thanks for the reply and you take care for now, and here's hoping that the scan shows more than one brain cell in my head lol

My father used to get migraines twice a day...once at 2pm and again at 7pm!! Everyday!! I suffer from migraine too mine last from 4hrs to six days, exhausting...no they don't show up on an MRI. Hope they find out what they are!! Best of luck...x

Oh dear that's awful and when people say it's just a headache, er not, I've got a pretty strong threshold to pain, but to more a less sitting at the edge of my bed at stupid o'clock clock rocking with pain and got my dressing gown belt tightened around my skull, these are horrendous and sympathy to you big time, cause that's what these headaches are BIG, so unless someone has had these symptoms to difficult to tell folk only those with these symptoms know, best wishes
