I have a list of ailments , i won't bore you with them but it has made me retire on ill health. i am a carer for my daughter, again i wont bore you with details.
last year i was in a car accident. a lorry dragged me and my static car half way down the road. at this same place in time , i awoke one morning to find i could not use my right arm. it took two weeks to be able to more it properly. however, i have had constant pain up and down ever since. i have lots of pain across my body most days, but this pain is different.
this pain starts at the base of my shoulder blade and agony. i feel like my arm and my shoulder blade are a different entity to the rest of my body.
i went to the doc and he said it was spasming muscle in my back and tennis elbow.
dont know what to think now...dont know wether to go back again...my worry is ..my ex mother in law started with bad pain in her arm and it turned out to be cancer...

Aww thanks for the support. I think im going to buy one of those ultrasound things and see a private physio. Nhs just print picture...I am going to see a different doc and see if he comes up with the same...
I have meds (many) the latest don't stop the pain but make me so drowsy, so I'm not taking any more of those..
Life is hard both mentally and physically. I have got to the end of what the nhs can offer including mental health services.
Some days I just want to go to sleep....like forever..but my daughter needs me so I will continue as best I can 😯
If you have 'pulled' your shoulder it can be called 'frozen shoulder' and can take 18mths or so to settle. Physio can help and painkillers and muscle relaxants but if you feel drowsy, reduce the dose or take only 6-8hrly but especially at night. I know I have been there.
Also as regards your daughter. Are you in touch with a Carers Assn like carersuk.org They give good general support and you may have a local support organisation.
