Hi I haven't had any side effects using them except keeping them in as long as possible . I have COPD , PMR and osteaparosis with 3 wedge fractures and diferticualar and all the medicine I take they have worked well for me . As you can't take anything by mouth I thought they could help .

Hi I didn't have any side effects except trying to hold on to them to let them work as you will feel as tho you need to go . Hopefully they will work for you and give you some relief .

I personally find Docusate (Dulcolease) very good as like glycerol it is a 'bowel softener' not a laxative which can cause gripes. I started with 1 at night and slowly built up I would seek advice from your chemist or Consultant as to whether you can use it.
