Headache

Why do I get a Sharp pain in my head for like a split second. I do have really bad sinus problems. Please can someone help me . I don't like going to the Dr's cause I can't afford it

Sinus pain is awful. When I get it I usually try steam inhalation. I have a small steam inhaler but find that the water cools fairly quickly so now use a facial sauna which continues to generate steam. You can add menthol crystals (only a couple of grains at a time or it will blow your head off!) or some essential oils such as eucalyptus or Olbas oil. Another thing I've found helpful is putting dry Himalayan salt in the dry small inhaler and breathing that. It's a recognised therapy for headache, sinus & breathing difficulties and in some countries sufferers visit the salt mines for therapy. You can also make a solution of Himalayan or Sea salt and use that as a nasal douche or spray or sniff up your nostrils to wash out catarrh.

Is it on the side of your head? If so, it could be "ice pick headaches". I get these occasionally.

I just recently started getting pains on my left side of my head about 2 weeks ago i do stress a lot and i jave anxiety as well the pain is by the temple its on and off shooting pain for like 2/3 mins then it's gone what could this be???
