I think that maybe many people do at sometime in life.

Have you had full blood tests?

Have you ever had Thyroid check blood tests.

You could also ask for blood tests for B12, Vitamin D, Ferritin and Folate and Full Blood Count. See if there is any need that should be met.

I suffered a lot of anxiety, stress and fearfulness before I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism which was caused by Hashimoto's Autoimmune Thyroiditis. I'm now on the right treatment and OK.

But we are all different.

I also eat very healthy diet. Lots fruit & veg and water and decaf tea. Caffeine not a good idea, I also avoid bread and cheese.

Maybe you could ask your doctor to refer you to a Gastroenterologist to investigate your tummy upsets. You do need some medical support don't you?

You've been off the Gabapentin for 3 months now. You have done well . I would have thought that should be out of your system by now. What does your doctor says about that?

Hope you find out the root cause of your symptoms and get on the right road to diagnosis, correct treatment and better health soon.

All the best

Mary

I was on 1800mg of gabepenten for six years. I just weaned off it , but slowly. There are a lot of side effects coming off it, but you may have come off too fast. Sometimes with the way you feel now, you can go back and take one dose here or there and still wean off. It is your brain craving the drug. It is a nasty drug. I gained 45 pounds on it and it contributed to me getting problems with my vision. How much were you on and how long?? Good Luck

I think for reassurance, you should speak to a Pharmacist. (Sp). I find them far more knowledgable than Doctors and ask their advice.

The brain is a complex thing and it may still 'remember' the withdrawal from Gabapentin.

How long were you on them and what dose and also, what were you taking them for if that's not too personal?

Not what you're looking for?
