I have been in pain from a slipped disc an syatica for 6 wks now an it never gives me a break 😡 people look at me an sometimes moan when I can't move quickly

I feel for you as I have had sciatica for 5 weeks and the pain meds have caused their own problems. Waiting for xray results now and then physio. Keep in touch with how you get on. x

I have sciatica down my right side mine is caused by lower back pain. I had radio frequency that's wear they burn the nerve. It does grow back but the first time I had it done it lasted 2 years

I feel for you too it was nine months before I got an op for herniated discs I was in that much agony I lost my long term 30 yrs job due to it! It's a horrific pain and after many many treatments the back and nerve pain never stops but luckily the sciatica only comes back when I do too much with my back like at the moment . All I can say is moan all you want it's you in pain not them! My wife has had similar problems to me and before mine happened I used to think crikey stop moaning and give it a rest............... that was until mine happened!!! No one understands sciatica or having slipped discs until they have been unfortunate to have it too. I apologised to my wife for all the years i thought she was just playing on it etc and I felt very ashamed, as she was so caring and understood the agony I was in and still get.So go ahead moan, get better and get your life back!

Hi have you tried a hot water bottle at the start of the pain? Ie in your lower back i found this helped immensly with siactica. As did swimming.
