It's 7.00 p.m and its chucking it down outside. I'm now lying on the settee with a bowl of raspberry ripple ice cream and a glass of Coke. I've recently heard of a TV channel called Talking Pictures that shows all the old black and white movies. It's on Freeview 81 or channel 343 so I'menjoying a few hours of spoiling myself.

Yes, I've recently discovered talking pictures. The number 81 is now in my brains memory. There are a few early colour films on there too. I love the Yorkshire company crisps, ( starting with Sea ,) so I expect I would be eating them ( as I am now) Failing that it might be a toasted tea cake . What a great subject.

Yes, I suppose its all about making life as pleasant as possible when pain's never far away. A lot of the movies on Talking Pictures aren't very good but there are some really good ones as well. I've recorded a few of the 'Take Two' ones as well when they interview some of the famous stars of years ago.

I didn't realise one could record from channel 81

Not that I do recording since the DVD era ! But OH can't seem to manage it anyway. Must be handy to be Tech minded.
