Hi Andy, I just read your post and am very pleased for you. I do hope you remain pain free and you're doing really well coming off the meds. Wishing you all the very best.

Hello

What other meds did you detox from? Gabapentin is not really a pain killer. I got off of lyrica without much of an issue but I am taking a strong opiate and duloxetine still for pain. I would like to get off the duloxetine because it has certain undesirable side effects.

Thanks

I came off gsbapentine, naproxine, oral morphine, diazapan, co-codomol. The point of my post is just to say that there is light st the end of the tunnel.

I am glad things are okay. However, if you have followed many of the postings from those who post on pain concern. There often appears a respite followed by a return of various pain symptoms. The cause of this is the problem which caused you to have the painful condition in the first place is still there.

You need to look for something which makes you able to study how your body works to prevent any recurrence of over exerting muscles which caused a disc bulge. Book a lesson with an Alexander Technique teacher. They will hopefully make you aware of things that will help you prevent a reoccurance of previous problems.

Hope I have been helpful.

Well ive returned to work no im not mocking you im again saying stay with it stay strong and you will come through it all.

Although ive had some nerve pain today the pain i experienced which was breakthrough chronic pain has gone and i feel so strongly for thise who are still suffering.

Im going to keep updating this as i find this helps the explaining to people who understand who may even be experencing what i went through last year.

Fell of the wagon though have had to take some cocodamol as ive over done it a bit today but still 2 of those is better than a mix of 19.

Ive had a up and down week pain wise. Only had to resort to cocodamol though but am fighting the want to take 2 diazapan and block out the world. But im not going too not because i like pain but because i like diazapan too much and having stopped using it im not going back but it is hard not too. Low point today i think but im going to bed with my hot water bottle on my back and a film on the ipad so hopefully ill sleep.

Stay strong peeps this is not going to beat us.
