peter1969 have you thought about Fibromyalgia as it might be worth looking it up as many of your symptoms correspond to those of that Illness.x

After your horrible accident did the pain to away altogether or has it lingered on and flared up? I tore some muscles in my back years ago and whenever I am under the weather for some reason that area get very sore and often extremely painful and when the virus or whatever is gone the pain eases.x

Sounds like CRPS. There is a site for it here I think. Pain from an injury that can reappear at any time and for any duration and for any or no reason at all. Check the site or Google it. Good luck with this
