Cervical injection day

Well I have just arrived at the hospital for facet joint injections one either side of the c6/c7 joint what is to be expected ?? They are suppose to hurt iv been told.

Waiting to see my consultant.

I had those shots. They injected pain medicine first, three on each side, then the long needles six times on each side. I was crying when my husband came in. He has never seen me cry over shots before. They were BAD.

Hi ive had the lot and found that they were painful but manageable. The worst ones are the radiofrequency injections however its worth the pain as long as they work so fingers crossed that yours do. Sometimes the pain can be worse the first week then hopefully relief. Good luck

I had then and was painful I don't bother about injection I had 36 in one go with no effect. They didn't work for me.
