Retinal occlusion

Hi everyone...Has anyone else had retinal occlusions? Ive had 5 this year so far, seen that many opthamologist's all they do is look and say oh yes, then basically goodbye. I have to many ailments to list any of them could be the cause. Has anyone else had the same problem and can anything be done about it?......take care

I had a retina detach. The eye was drained of fluid. It was reattached by laser and the eye refilled with an inert gas. The retina failed to stay in place. The eye was refrained and the retina was reattached using cryogenics. The eye was refilled with silicone. The retina never attached successfully so I am left blind in that eye. HTH
