Diclofenac

I am taking zapain and been taking diclofenac antiflamitry my doctor has taken me off the diclofenac I find the zapain does not work very well on my own does any one know if I can buy something similar over counter to take with zapain

Hi Yorkie2

I take both diclofenac and zapain together with no issues and have done for over 2 years. Maybe you need to ask the doctor why he has stopped the diclofenac.

I hope you get it sorted out soon.

Hi I have been told by my GP in North Wales that he cannot prescribe Diclofenac as it has been linked to heart attacks, I was then put on Naproxen which although I was taking Omeprazole, it has left me with an inflamed stomach which was so painful I ended up in A & E Sunday morning. I really feel that a lot of these issues are about cost and not what helps a CRPS sufferer!

I agree but it does not help us who need this medication for our pain do you know if there is anything I could buy over counter I am just taking zapain which does not do much on its own

I have been prescribed Arcoxia which seems to work for me. I also take Omeprazole to protect my stomach. I hope that this information helps.

Yorkie12, I was taking diclofenac for arthritis. My primary doctor told me not to take it with the pred. as it interferes with it.
