At 17, you're too young to have cervical sponylosis. Are you self-diagnosing, sounds like you're suffering from a particular Acronym(CRPS), wich is rewarding and impresses one's peers.

Sorry to doubt you, and sound like an adult

Y'a know, I understand that doctors don't Really , Really Know Anything, except every now n' then they're right. Go to the closest Hospital, see if you can't be seen by the main Hospitalist and get good diagnosis

Pain Killers aren't a diet, they're a blessing and a curse, You Are too Young to start using Pain Killers, start Exercising, Acupuncture, Yoga, eat healthy, Produce, High Fiber, Grains, My recommedation is No Red Meat, Fish n' Poultry(chicken only), tempeh, tofu, supplements. I started when I was 15 doing all of the above.

You Are Way too Young to start taking Pharmaceuticals, think healthy.

Again You're Way Too Young to start making yourself old

i will try to make it a point that i will not let it hamper my progress n will work hard towards my health

pragya5, find a doctor to order an MRI. That's the only way you'll know what's going on in your neck and shoulders. Have You tried Gluclosamine Sulphate yet? It will help you, Buy it from Puritans online two 1500 mg caplets twice daily. You really are too young to have the disorder you suspect you do. Doesn't mean you don't have it, though

Hello pragya5 I have cervical Spondylosis. I have had two root nerve procedures done last January and October 2014. It helps for a while but unfortunately does not get rid of the problem. Have you had an MRI scan done? You need to get this done so that they can see what is going on with your spine. I know that it is painful and uncomfortable. I hope that you will find a solution to your problem.

Hello pragya5

Go to your GP who will give you advice on what it could be. Send you for xrays and scans as needed and prescribe pain relief.

If this is self diagnosis it can be misleading but useful to look up when you have a proper diagnosis..

Good Luck

Tut tut - best not to tell GP!!

There are many alternatives to pain meds and at your age you won't be given anything very strong - if any at al.

Yes - do let me know.

Hi Pragya5,

I hope the pain you're experiencing is not too bad today.

Even though it's quite unlikely that you have Spondylosis, it's Not impossible at your age. There are people who are born with something called constitutional canal narrowing which is basically what Spondylosis is.

As everyone has already said. See your GP as soon as possible and describe in full what your symptoms are.

You mentioned that you have been having Physio. If so, I would recommend that you stop going until you've sorted your neck issue is as it may be making it worse.

Wising you all the very best. Do let us know how you get on.

It sounds like it. I've had the condition for over 40 years but it hasn't been a real trouble for most of that time .But quite frequent now I'm 88!

Yes it sounds like it but i just hope its not it :)

This has pissed me off to the high heavens! Do you actually realise the people on here suffer from medical conditions, we discuss what we already have and how we can help each other. This isn't somewhere you come to get a diagnosis you petulant child. And as for your random CRPS don't get me started. People like you are the reason pain medication is exploited. You are also the reason the doctors and hospitals are so clogged with your incessant whining.

Good day!

Wow that's a bit harsh. Don't want to follow on with any arguments but I rarely see rants like that on this site. Any administrators available to comment.

sargrith profile image
sargrith in reply toCharli93

How bloody rude can you get? do you stipulate the terms for what people post on here?

Charli93 profile image
Charli93 in reply tosargrith

No of course I don't, what a sarcastic comment. If a 17 year old was self diagnosing herself with your condition that people have to fight for years for, seeing numerous 'professionals' and she thinks Google is a suitable place to find a diagnosis. It was all misconstrued, she said CRPS meaning cramps not complex regional pain syndrome that that accronym usually stands for. Now if you'd like to take your beak elsewhere rather than stirring up a post that was dealt with last week. I apologised to Pragya and we are on the same page. Get your facts first mister ;)

sargrith profile image
sargrith in reply toCharli93

As I said, bloody rude and and also ignorant.Sorry to be on your own personal web site. I do see you've suffered poor dear! GET OVER IT wimp!

Charli93 profile image
Charli93 in reply tosargrith

And you don't think you are?! Shows your age doesn't it, think the world owes you something because you qualify for a bus pass. Don't care if I get kicked off the site but saying that is beyond a joke. You've had carpal tunnel surgery.. Boo fucking hoo. I thought this site was for sufferers not pathetic whining namby pamby idiots like you. To quick to judge and incapable of taking on any new information in your old age.

sargrith profile image
sargrith in reply toCharli93

We know there 's ignorant agist gits like you hiding behind their computers. I see by your ramblings I hit a nerve. Sounds like mummy's brave little soldier making a meal of a limited condition- Get over it!

Charli93 profile image
Charli93 in reply tosargrith

My mother died when I was a toddler, get a better joke. The same goes for you, you clearly don't like being spoken down to by someone in there twenties. I don't hide behind my phone at all, I'm actually a very honest person, I'd happily say this to your face. You'd think by now you would of learnt how to behave a like a grown adult. A limited condition? You clearly know your stuff, you clever bean! Off you pop, it must be close to bedtime.

I'd get on my violin, but I must not encourage the children!

sargrith profile image
sargrith in reply toCharli93

Thanks for your good wishes. I might very well last longer than you There's no guarantee given in this world so perhaps it will be you falling of this mortal coil first. Lets hope so!

hey peeps ....i know i might be very young to say or jump into the conversation bt actually it all started with my statements....n i have already apologised a lot many times...n now i feel that we shouldn't get too carried away....n should chuck it....i just hope you guys find solutions to your solutions...n atleast we should pay some respect to the other people who are going to die the other day....

good day :)

First of all i am really sorry to hurt anybody's sentiments

i didnt want to create any kind of nuisence here nor did i want to offend anybody

i just wanted to share the problem i have been suffering from over two months now

Charli93 profile image
Charli93

I'm sorry Marmaris if you think I was being harsh however I've had to fight for over a year for my diagnosis. I have been through hell and back with complex regional pain syndrome not to mention Fibromyalgia. I come here for support, not to feel like I'm being ridiculed. You might not see it but it's like saying I'm pretty sure I'm getting random cancer all over my body because my fingers know how to type my symptoms in on Google. I find her post to be extremely uneducated, and yes annoying. Perhaps I shouldn't of commented but it's the same yesterday when people were saying people with CRPS can't go to the dentist because IT will spread. What absolute bollocks, it's not the common cold, it's not a virus. If you wish to talk about CRPS at least have some respect for suffers instead of chuffing out stupid nonsense.

pragya5 profile image
pragya5 in reply toCharli93

charli93, i am extremely sorry if i hurt you.....but was not intentional yes i might have sounded immature to you but that doesn't mean that i was mocking anybody

i used an acronym CRPS for "CRAMPS" but because of my immaturity people might have taken it to be CRPS i don't know what it is and i apologise once again if i hurt your sentiments i totally sympathise with you and i would never in my life mock anybody for their medical conditions because i have seen people i love suffer and i totally know the hell and i hope you get well soon......god bless you... good luck :D i hope everythig turns out well

Charli93 profile image
Charli93

Thank you very much Pragya, I do apologise for jumping to conclusions. No excuse but bad day and looked quick and thought you were mocking. I have reread and understand. Thank you for your apology, I am also very sorry myself. I hope you do get to the bottom of your cramps, good luck to you too x
