It seems that I've offended some in here with my posts. I was merely trying to help with positive things and share what I've learned..I thought that was what this site was about? Helping one another thru trials and tribulations, discussions, thoughts, hopes & prayers for one another. I didn't mean to SPAM anyone therefore I deleted THAT post. I believe I will also be deleting my membership in here as well... as I alone can't help with all the negativity in here! I feel for each and every one of you and the things you are dealing with..I wish I had a magic wand for all to heal them! Peace and prayers!
Sorry everyone....: It seems that I've offended... - Pain Concern
Sorry everyone....
Hi zena, sorry you have had a bad situation. I just wanted to tell you I have found your posts helpful. I have been looking into the ultrasound and the aromatherapy xx take care x
Naylee, thanks for your awesome and kind words... I hope you find those things work for you! It's always worth a try, right?
Zenagain - you haven't *offended* me (for those that didn't see it, I was the first person to point out that posting affiliate links, like Zenagain did in the other thread, was considered to be spam and not allowed by HU - though I did try to do it gently and diplomatically at first. I simply thought that perhaps you hadn't realised that, Zenagain)
I hope you decide to stay and find support here if you need it. It's understandable that someone might make a mistake at first. Now you know affiliate links aren't allowed then there shouldn't be a problem with this again.
There are probably more people here who haven't been offended than have (if they even were!) so don't deprive yourself of some company or others of your experience, friendship and wisdom! Stay! We are all coping with pain and maybe we get tetchy sometimes! This is a great place to hang out and feel like people care. Stay....
Zenagain71....Me Darling feeling a bit lousy, we all get it, as with managing the pain it takes it's toll on our persona and it gives off plenty of it's sparks,, but I think you'll find on here that there is nothing that can't be got through to a degree where it is a bit more bearable when you let it out, and as for what you said about upsetting people...Bah...Humbug just you make yourself a cup of tea, or get your carer to, and concentrate on relaxing a big XX from me Alex
what a bueatiful prayer,sorry you have had a bad stiuation.
I read your post.
There is nothing wrong in wanting to help others.
I was not offended
Universal blessings
Hope you stay.
The negativity is just as important as the positivity. We learn by doing. Some things create good effects some things create bad effects. Hopefully we learn not to repeat the things that cause bad effects. Although some things that cause bad effects can in the fullness of time create good effects.
Grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And Wisdom to know the difference.
Grant me the peace to live one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to wisdom
All the best
zenagain----I loved your inspirational prayer! Was in no way offended! Don't take yourself away from a site that can help you!! Most people on here are good, spiritual people and want to help one another! Put aside what some others might have to say. You will always have the negative and positive in your life! Blessings & Hugs!!!

Here here. We all have different ideas and beliefs. Nothing can be offensive if it is meant sincerely and with good intentions. You should definitely stay. If someone doesn't have the same beliefs , well they don't have to read your post.
I too find the negativity difficult. I drop in from time to time to share positivity, insight and encouragement, only to be worn down by the negativity. Then I leave for a while, and return again.
We have to realise everyone is at different stages in their pain journey, and if acceptance is not reached, there will be a lot of negativity. Some people seem to spend a lot of time here.
It's a learning curve for everyone. Who knows what day you reach someone and they discover something new because of it?
Are you able to let others be and experience their journey their way? There's no right or wrong, no good or bad, just a load of people most with unimaginable pain trying to get through their day. What works for one doesn't for another.
Like you, I believe in the power and energy of positivity and try and liven my life as fully as I can despite the pain. We will all wake up tommorrow and we have a choice - carry on as usual or do something to change things. It could be something as simple as smiling. Every action has a reaction - see how people relate to you differently because you are smiling. And pain doesn't stop you smiling, your thoughts stop you smiling - it may have been a while since you did it, but make the choice to smile at everyone you meet and see what happens.
People get upset, there's alot going on in the background we are unaware of. Your post may just be the trigger that releases the negativity.
Carry on, if it's what you want to do. If it helps you in your journey. I do believe the negativity In here is driving the positivity away, maybe if we all stick to it, it will become more balanced.
And those with negativity have to realise and respect those who have journeyed through it and found positivity. Live and let live. One day it could be you
When on site we all need to use the names of medication affiliate or not.
To suggest things possibly that have worked for you gives other people hope and succor in their journey to a pain relieved future.
I have been on these sites now for a good length of time and sometimes things may be said that will upset.
it is a shame that those with problems can be denied a voice regarding what is a sow of a condition that can effect people in so many ways. We all on here have our own little ways that people need to tolerate and when that happens it gives a richness to what is a very restricted life when suffering pain.
We all on site can say the wrong thing or cause offence, generally it is unintentional. We all have to much on our minds due to Chronic Pain to worry about an error caused or if it should not be on this site.
We are here to learn and do our research to get more out of new treatments and the problems of the modern NHS. We all need to accept each other warts and all as we are all here for the same reason to treat our pain. If we nit pick what is worse to point out a problem and cause a person too leave or take stoke of an error and learn from that in a generous way
