HI there, I have just recently been diagnosed with peudendal neuropathy entrapment and am undergoing 3 nerve blocks for my case file to confirm this diagnosis with a view to have decompression surgery.I am from Canada and we don't have any surgeons who perform this surgery in my country so I am in the process of researching other surgeons in the states as well as Europe. Are you in the same situation as me? Blessings, Lise

Hi I had surgery in The Spires Hospital Bristol UK it as been 2 years and 6 months and my pains about 30per cent easier.I am still on painkillers and I would like to know if if there can be any more pain relief with tIme as I was told nerve pain takes longer.Thankyou for your reply.Val
Hi Val, May I ask how your nerve pain started? Was it from the perineum? If your nerve pain was a result of a gynecologic surgery and it has been 2 years and 6 months of pain, sometimes it is the peudendal nerve which is the culprit.Yes indeed nerves can take a long time indeed to heal but there are specific tests that determine if the peudendal nerve has been damaged. If you do have nerve damage and have tried all the conservative therapies such as physio , medication and nerve blocks and things don't improve then you do consider surgery.I know there are surgeons in the U.K and France.I am going through all of this at present. Please message me again if this is the scenario you are in.Blessings, Lise
