my wife is on Thyronorm 75 because of hypothyroid since 40 days. Earlier she was taking Thyronorm 25. Now her TSH reading has come to normal
She must have had a blood test for that diagnosis to have been confirmed . Supplements should have been prescribed if so. As to the pain being caused by the deficiency, I really wouldn't know. Any new pain needs the doc to be consulted.
I'm sorry that your wife is in so much pain. I have heard that taking vitamin D can decrease pain levels. Ive been taking it for the last few years, but I really don't think its made any difference to my pain. But in your wife's case, has she had a blood test confirming vitamin D deficiency? Has she had other tests, x-rays or scans to try to find what is causing her pain. Was she prescribed vitamin D. If she was, has it made any difference to her pain levels? If not, I think that she should return to her gp and ask for further tests etc. I do hope that you get her pain improved soon.
