It is a Opiate pain killer for severe pain control

Watch out for extreme drowsiness, loss of appetite (nausea), digestive problems, irritability and what appeared to be a slight rash which turned out to be eczema brought on by sweats.

Everyone responds to meds differently but I hope this is helpful - it will also depend on what other meds you're on.

I've tried it – it worked for a short time, then I had to increase dose to get same effect. I did this until I got up to 20mg, and gave up after about 3 months. It also made me nauseous quite often. But everyone's different, and many people are really helped by it, so it's worth a try.
