At the time I had a very receptive and understanding GP who agreed to prescribe Targinact 15mg. Been on it ever since and it's been a life saver. Fast forward to this afternoon and new GP refused flat out to prescribe it, without offering an alternative.

I got a prescription for Targinact 5mg/2.5mg from him. I hope that my GP will prescribe this on repeat and that this will help me to get my life back. 🤞 What are your thoughts, please! Thanks for taking the time to read this:)

They suggested, if ferritin at adequate level and gab 120mg not effective, either rotigone or pregablin or targinact. I am a bit worried now about my appt tomorrow. If anyone can advise on my iron levels, I would be grateful.

is anyone using Targinact and Pregabalin for RLS and what strength? I am taking 15 mg Targinact twice a day (at 9.30 am and about 10.15 pm), together with 450 mg Pregabalin at bed time, but I’m finding I get RLS quite badly early in the evening.

Would taking a higher dose of Targinact or Gabapentin enable me to take Enzalutamide? Has anyone experience this and did the oncologist find an alternative drug which doesn't make RLS worse? Can Targinact go into Augmentation? As always, the advice of community members is greatly appreciated

He has recommended I go on Targinact after the 6 week washout period. I am nervous as hell about that...and all of it really...because I do think my brain is really unhappy about all of these drugs and it seems to respond to most of them with mood disorders.

These are my final options as I've tried everything else: Buprenorphine, Methadone, [u]I feel lost and don’t know what to do.

I thought they had written to the neurologist about me trying Targinact instead they asked him what he would suggest he has come back with …wait for it. .,.sinemetI told the doctor no no no and explained why.

I tried Gabapentin , Dyperidamole, Codeine and Targinact at some point yet nothing seemed to help. Once off Ropin and still taking just Gabapentin ,B12 and iron I then went privately to see a neurologist in April and he agreed to prescribe Buprenorphine 0.4 mgs sl tablets.

Hi I’m just looking for some advice on Targinact and just Oxycodone please.

I have had one nights sleep in a year and that was 1til 6am .Interestingly I was out that evening and only had 600 mgs of gabapentin and 5mgs of targinact and 1mg Clonazepam.

Some information please.Which is the strongest opoid between targinact and buprenorphine please.

Still no to being prescribed the targinact i tried my best. Even though she looked it up saw it was used for RLS. She has suggested if i can go private with a neurologist as could take weeks before i get an appointment to see mine. I don’t know how to go about it what i need to do.

I am on targinact twice a day and also gabapentin twice a day and this in the “nth” combination that hasn’t worked! I don’t sleep and my legs kick out at night causing my partner to leave the bed regularly if I haven’t already got up!

I’d been really worried I would react badly, especially as I’d tried Targinact in January and felt like I’d been poisoned. How strange that my sleep consultant is licensed to prescribe Oxycodone but recoiled in horror when I mentioned Buprenorphine.

We have had cases recently where members have been refused Targinact, which IS already licensed for RLS. The opioid bias seems to overrule common sense, compassionate prescribing. If anyone knows of a possible drug research contact, please do let me know.

For several weeks I was prescribed Targinact for pain relief, but that drug has become unavailable in Cyprus and I switched to morphine tablets (20 mg twice daily, morning and evening). This has somewhat improved my mobility.

She has however asked my GP to prescribe Oxycodone and I have been on Targinact, and now Longtec , 3 times a day for a few weeks. It has been working well during daytime but does not cover my symptoms 24/7.
