For the last 9 months suffering from very acute pain in the left hand. Got MRI and various checks done, but no relief.After Physio & regular exercise some relief in movement of the hand, but the pain is still persisting. I take Paracatomal-500mg when pain is unbearable.
Can some one suggest what to do.

Discus with the GP a stronger medication for pain, because of you are Diabetic I would prefer that he will know your condition and would be able to recommend a more suitable medication possibly Dyhydrocodiene
Over the long term manipulation may be a good idea to make the joint more flexible For the hand a pain pen would possibly help and give relief. Discus with GP
Sadly my knowledge of diabetic medications is very limited

After nine months your pain is not acute but chronic. Perhaps a referral to a Pain Centre would be the next step?
Could your pain be diabetes related? If so, care needs to be taken with your skin. Pain Clinics will assess.
Have you checked the tension in the neck. You could be having referred pain.
One of the things that does happen is increased muscle tension which can reduce the blood supple which in turn leads to pain. This requires work to undo the muscle tension. Masseurs have training to do this. Physios do not check muscle tension they just do exercises. Anyway that is my experiences of physios.
