Thumb spica splints working!

I'm so glad to have some positive information to offer finally. Rheumatologist discharged me (not sure why, as he seems to only look at one thing at a time), and sent me to an orthopaedic surgeon. He gave me thumb spica splints 3 days ago. Oh the relief! I have to wear them 24 hours a day for 3 weeks. He says the pain in my wrists may be tendonitis and synovitis. The splints are working after only 3 days. It's so great not to wake up in pain!

Anyone who has unexplained wrist pain-try them!

Yes. And closer to a diagnosis. GP, OT, surgeon think I have hypermobility syndrome. At last it all makes a bit of sense.
