At the moment my chemo is not affecting me in any way, no sickness, not much tiredness, and my countafter 3 treatments is down to 177 from 1966 , so while I'm feeling better we are making the most of it. Just come bcak from my 60th birthday present ballooning trip (on my wish list) and we are off to France for 2 weeks in the motorhome on Friday. Just back in time for treatment no 5 and the results of my Ct scan I had last week (we hope).
Staying positive and making the most of all opportunities is the best way of coping with this horrible disease.
I am so glad you did it! Did you find it tranquil (except when the burners were going)?
Your CA125 response to current treatment sounds great. Let us know how the scan goes!
I am off to London tonight (back home tomorrow) and off to Weymouth in a couple of weeks as long as chemo does not get delayed by a week due to low blood count.
Today I felt very positive. Feeling even more positive knowing that you are still enjoying life several years down the line and still feeling positive and your CA125 is going down to re-inforce that positive nature of yours.
Love Lizzie

Have a wonderful time in France! You are an inspiration.
Much love.
Isadora.
Well done greybadger,
Great news on the count, have a FANTASTIC holiday, enjoy yourselves, and well done on the "Up Up and Away trip" for your 60th.
Glad also that the chemo is not making you feel to bad.
So glad to hear that you are feeling positive at the moment. As Isadora says, you are an inspiration. Have a wonderful time in France and all the best for the results when you come home again
I SO love your attitude and totally agree with your coping strategy. You are a poster girl for how to live - I've also just squeezed in a 2nd holiday in as many months to Spain while I take a treatment break before being locked into weekly chemo - the trip was lovely - 32 glorious degrees! and hours swimming in the most amazing sea. Here's to living it up like we never did get round to doing before diagnosis!
lots of love
Kerry xx
I so agree..........my lovely husband took me away in between chemo sessions last year. Just for a few days but it made everything bearable. I am now a year into remission having finished chemo August 2010 (stage 4 oc) and I've got quite used to the 'holidayhabit'. We are off on Monday for a cruise down the River Danube. A special holiday for our Pearl wedding anniversary. Last year didn't think I'd be here for it. I'm already thinking about places to go for October/November. Life is really sweet at the moment.
Love and hugs to everyone on this site x x
