Sorry to read of this - can you contact your gynae's secretary and leave a detailed message for him/her? Every woman is different and I suppose there is no 'normal' but anything 'odd' should be looked at as far as I am concerned.
Perhaps on of the fab Ovacome nurses will come along soon with more advice for you.
It's completely understandable for you to be anxious, and everyone I've come across who works in this area will understand. As Sheila said we're all different, it may be something to do with the cysts and nothing abnormal at all, but I was having hugely heavy periods, dark brown too, at the end. I know CA125 tests can give a false result, but have you had one of these? Has your local hospital gynae dept got a nurse specialist? They are often a great first port of call. Try to find out more. You can't take chances with your health. All the best.
I had a ca125 test and the gynaecologist said the blood levels were slightly raised but no further investigations have been made.
I am concerned about the continual bleeding and the dark colour. This is a recent development so I will take the advice and speak to the nurse at the hospital.
Thanks for your response .......Like you say....you can't take chances with your health
