Hi, I have fallopian tube cancer, very rare and treated the same as ovarian cancer. Are there any other members out there who have this form of cancer - it would help if we could compare notes. Thank you

I am one of the supportline nurses at Ovacome. We are sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with fallopian tube cancer and if we can be of any help or support please feel free to get in touch- our number is 08453710554 Mon- Fri 10-5.
As you say it is indeed a rare form of cancer but is treated in exactly the same way as ovarian cancer and primary peritoneal cancer. We do have one or two of our members who have been diagnosed with fallopian tube cancer and we will try and make contact with them and see if they would be willing to help.
Best Wishes
Ruth
Hi,
I was diagnosed with fallopian tube cancer in 2002. I was treated as if I had ovarian cancer and had a hysterectomy and chemotherapy. I am happy to help if you have any queries.
Best wishes,
Vicky
Hi Lynda
My cancer was in my right fallopian tube, found in March this year at stage 1c. I subsequently had a hysterectomy and chemo, the same treatment as if it had been in an ovary. Hopefully I am now cured - although the chemo really knocked the stuffing out of me.
It has been quite a year.
Happy to compare notes - in fact would welcome the chance to be in touch with you or anyone else with this same cancer.
