I have just completed Carboplatin Caelyx, had CT scan and the results show 1 cm tumour placed under the liver which initially was 4 cm. My consultant recommendation is SABR radiotherapy. I'm scared of the immediate side effects and the long time side effects. Has anyone else had this type of radiotherapy on a liver tumor? If so, can you please tell me what to expect? How many sessions? What immediate and long term side effects? Thank you in advance for your reply x

SABR radiotherapy on a liver tumor.
Just had it but no time to write in depth. Compared to chemo, it was a breeze. Have not had scan yet but consultant was optimistic. Mine was also a lesion on the liver. Good luck!
Thank you for your reply X I will really appreciate it you can write in details how was your experience - how many sessions have you had, what side effects have you experienced, and how did you feel during the treatment. I would also ask you if your tumour is gone but I guess you don't know yet... Many thanks x
