Yes, I too get lots of cramps - they seem to come on during the night after I have been trying to do a bit of exercise during the day. Mine start in agony but I have learnt that by stretching my feet backwards I.e. towards your legs, not away, as hard as I can, mine stop almost immediately. Give it a try, it might help. I am currently still NED since surgery in January 13 (Stage 1c Clear Cell) but I am having immunotherapy for my other cancer which is Stage 4 Advanced neuro endocrine tumours which I have had since at least 2000 but I had the cramps a long time before this so don't feel it is related to the treatment.

Make sure you report this to your doctor. I also had a lot of leg cramps, so my doctor ordered an ultrasound of both legs. It turned out that I had several blood clots in my legs and am now on a daily injections of Lovenox (a blood thinner) to clear up/prevent the clots

are the cramps there all the time making it hard to walk?

If so, then make sure you get checked out by your triage team or GP . I don’t wish to alarm you but it could be the sign of a blood clot if there all the time. I am on Gemcarbo, too. How are you coping with it? I have developed nocturia after first infusion which keeps me awake at night, plus nausea . Otherwise, I am coping OK so far.

Take care

Dear Harryroberto1,

As others have mentioned, it is important to seek medical advice regarding the cramp you are experiencing. You could ring your GP, clinical nurse specialist (CNS), NHS111 or your chemotherapy hotline number.

Best wishes,
