My mom's onco is suggesting liquid biopsy as she does not have good site for tissue and lately not responding to treatment regimen. Her cancer shed lot of cancer cell leading to very high level of CA125 on other hand. Does anybody have experience with liquid biopsy and have a suggestion for a good lab.

Liquid Biopsy
Hi. I am about to have liquid biopsy suggested but not pushed by my oncologist. She gave me the pros and cons and left me to decide. I may have to have chemo for the fourth time in the autumn and I wanted it to be more targeted to my cancer cells. I am going with Gaurdant360 again info came from my oncologist. I am due to have the blood test next week. I am in the UK and the big consideration is the cost. £3500 for me. It may not reveal any more useful info but all in all I think it is worth a try for me given my journey so far. I’ll let you know when I have been through the process. Good luck to your Mum and best wishes to you.
Thanks for your reply and good luck on the test. I know it is expensive but may be worth taking a chance as it may open some options such as immunotherapy or potential clinical trials. My mom is in India and looks they do have tests available there as well. Search for One cell and medgenome to see if they are available over there.
