A few of us from this community forum have recently decided to meet as a Book Club in order to read and learn together about cancer, ovarian cancer, treatments and approaches associated with our disgnosis.
We are meeting fortnightly on a Wednesday afternoon to discuss a chapter from a book or a paper. Next meeting is 25th September at 2pm for 1 1/2 hours.
The reading for next time is from Rebel Cell by Kat Arney. We are reading the Introduction and Chapter 1, Let's Begin at the Very Beginning. The book is available on Audible and probably on other platforms.
Please let us know if you are interested in joining us.
Warm wishes, Jo

Hello Jo, it sounds a lovely idea but I'll not join as have our grand-daughter on Wednesday afternoons - picking her up from school and then here at home. But, I do look forward to hearing the books chosen. Warm wishes, Lesley
I am very interested, and have just ordered the kindle version to read
I work during those hours, but going forward I can try and arrange my diary to be available, so please invite me and I'll attend where I can. If nothing else I'll be getting some different reading material
Do you want to pop your email address, and maybe a first name, in the 'chat' function accessed via the paper aroeplane icon at the top right of the screen? Please let us know whether or not to expect you on any given week when I send the link around. Warm regards, Jo

How wonderful that this book group is being set up! We would strongly advise against posting your email addresses or any other contact details in this chat, as these will then be publicly available. Instead, please message MountainSeeker directly using the 'chat' function in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
Yes, the 'chat' function, where I understand it is safe to post email addresses, can be accessed via the paper aroeplane icon at the top right of the screen. Warm regards, Jo
What a great idea. I will be in Scotland visiting my daughter then, but would love to join you in the future. The book is on Spotify if anyone has this. I will pop my email in the chat
