I've been on this journey for over 4 years now. I was diagnosed in 2020 with stage 4 OC. Had chemo then radical debulking more chemo. Then olaparib for just 2 yrs then it stopped working. Ca125 started to creep up ( lymph nodes ) so back to chemo which seemed to work but 5 months later its back. Told carbo sensitive so started on Caelyx. Only 2 rounds but oncologist not happy ca125 rising rapidly so now on weekly paclitaxol. Just had one round starting round 2. But my Ca125 is up to 4009. I'm so scared. I'm just hoping the next few rounds start to bring it down. I'm not ready for the alternative yet.

Feeling worried
Hi. I’m so sorry you’re not getting much of a break. You don’t say your location but you might want a second opinion at a major cancer center where they are familiar with the trials of new drugs like Elahere or immunotherapy. Most trials are for platinum resistant people which you now are.
A virtual hug is not going to solve any of your problems, I'm afraid, but it's all I have to offer. Love from California.
I hope you get some movement with the plax, keep asking questions and looking for the answers yourself too, trials maybe a good option. Take care X
Many thanks. I will. Feeling bit better today I'm usually very positive but it got to me. Partly chemo side effects as well I expect
It is awful that so many of us are telling the same tale. Hope your CA 125 comes down soon. No one tells you how to deal with the mental side of all this🤗
wishing you the very best.
