my mom… have ovarian cancer since 2017, till 2021 in remission, affer each summer carbo taxol and 6 month off… that this may she has shock from palitaxel and they give her only taxol… after 3 rounds ct shows some mts. Smaller some bigger they swhiced to doxil in june, after 2 weeks from first influstion mom was in hospital she has stomach blocage she cant eat or drink anything, they made surgey and open it, 1 month she recover.. after 2 month she get 2nd doxil and now,. We get tests and her ca 125 is up from 530 to 960 i am so shocked i read that from doxil it can go up but not 2x yes she has temperature and inflamination but anyway i dont belive it make such up… i am really so sad :(((

hang in there and be there for your Mom. Knowing you are her advocate and by her side asking the questions she may not be able to. Do you have Abraxane there? It is similar to taxol but not as harsh. The chemo does do quite a number as well as surgery. I am so sorry she is going through all this.

Hoping she gets better and recovers from the surgery.

Sorry to hear this. What has her consultant said? I have no knowledge to impart but I think it would be good to see if the doctors have a plan for her treatment. I am obeying the doctors but also taking/doing various other things after checking with the hospital. Wishing you all the best. Positive vibes xx
