Is IP chemotherapy more effective than IV , I see patients with IP to be in remission for a longer period ..... suggestions pls

I am not aware of what IP chemo is. Just reached to wish you well and hope you are doing fine after this chemo cycle.

Hi, You mean intraperitoneal chemo versus intravenous? It's not better. As I see now IP chemo is not often used.

I,ve had recently IP chemotherapy (PIPAC) and unefortunately I've developped 5 huges metastasis instantly after the surgeries in the places (wholes) where the trocars were introduced. So, mot much help, but many complications.

I don’t think it’s proven to be superior and it’s very harsh. I think HIPEC may be superior? They do that at the time of surgery.
