I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 4 years ago and have just finished a long course of Paciltaxol only to discover a lump at the base of my neck which Google tells me could be lymphoma.
Has anyone had any experience of such a lump and what was done about it?
I would appreciate any insight as I am surprised, not to mention terrified that such a thing would appear after 5 months of chemotherapy.
Thank you

Hi PippesandyI have no experience to share but if you have just finished Taxol then I would encourage you to report it to the chemo team as a possible side effect.
I hope it’s nothing, best of luck, you deserve some time off!xx
Definitely let your onc team know. I had a similar experience during frontline treatment. I had a hard, painless lump on the back of my neck. I saw my PCP first and she gave me antibiotics and told me to let my oncology team know. After a day or two of the antibiotics the lump was gone-it must have been some sort of infection.
I'm so sorry to hear that 🙁. As Summergold says, there are lots of treatment options out there, so don't lose hope. That said, I know it is hard to stay positive when you get news like that. I'm wishing you peace and comfort during this time.
Oh jeez I am so very sorry to hear the diagnosis. Don’t lose faith I am sure your team is going to get you on the next treatment track. Also check with them to see if you qualify for any trials too
Hi, just sending my love and support at this difficult time. Hoping things will go smoothly in another treatment for you. Try and keep the faith, Donna Hugs xx
