Hi ladies, hope everyone is holding up as well as they could be. Can anyone share their ca125 before and after their first treatment of carbo/doxil/avastin?

Hi - June 2020 - I had my first Doxil/Carbo cocktail for first recurrence. My NP said before I began that my CA125 may not come down the first couple months. Mine did - it was 210 and reduced to 168 and continued to reduce after each monthly transfusion. (I did not have Avastin.)

Hi. I have seen many others here report that CA 125 went up for the first two cycles and then down. I think mine may have but it’s not really a marker for me. It would have gone from 6 to 8 or 9 then back down. Try not to worry!

my Ca 125 was 57 went down to 26 first session did not have Avastin was very excited. However white blood cells and neutrophils very low almost wasn't able to have 2nd chemo session but doc figured I was strong enough and then gave me neulasta to boost production. Debbie
