Hello to everyone on the forum. You have been such a source of encouragement and support to me since I joined in February this year.
I was diagnosed with serous OC stage 3C in September 2015 and had total abdominal hysterectomy in October. Op was a success but I was discharged too soon and re admitted by emergency ambulance the next day for another 13 day stay in hospital. December to April I had my chemo and was hospitalised following cycles 2,4 and 5 so it has been a roller coaster ride.
However, I am delighted to tell you all that I saw the oncologist last Friday and my CT scan was clear and CA 125 level is now down to 12 which is the lowest it has ever been. I am just left with nerve damage in both feet and some tingling in my fingertips. So now I join all you other ladies on the watch and wait game before my first review in 3 months time!
Best wishes to you all as you continue your individual journeys and thanks again for all your help.
Barbara

Great news. I'm so glad for you. It must have been so hard at times but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Wishing you all the best xx Trish
I am so delighted for you Barbara. Your good news is wonderful and must be such a relief after the nightmare you went through. That must make it all the sweeter so now go and enjoy your new found freedom.
What amazing news Barbara. You'll give so much hope to others starting this journey to know there can be glitches en route but you have arrived at the end of treatment and wonderful to hear the news that it's been a success.
Enjoy your watch and wait time free of hospital appointments, medicines, and all the other trappings of undergoing treatment.
Thanks all of you for your encouraging response and special thanks to Suzuki for telling me about shoes which will be more comfortable in coping with the neuropathy.
I shall continue to follow you all on the forum and give any support that I can.
