Has anyone had a longer remission after 2nd line chemo than first

As title really. Ive had 2 lines now and op 4 months ago after first line didnt bring enough shrinkage and only had 6 months stable disease.

Hi Rosebine, havent myself but have a friend who had incurable bowl cancer the first go at chemo didn't do very much. But then 2years later she had a different combination and 4 years on she been in remission all that time & looks and feels great . So good luck sending love & hugs SheilaFxxx

When you had your first chemo, you hadn't had your op. I should think that now you have had the cancer removed, you could hope for a longer remission.

I’ve been in remission for 3 years now after 2nd line treatment (surgery and chemo)

I am on a Parp inhibitor though.

I also am on Olaparib after second line chemo. I had 9 months remission after frontline and now it’s been 15 months. I have seen women on here who’ve had longer remissions after two recurrences. Xx
