Second opinion

Hi ladies, following on from my recent post, about whether to have tamoxifen or chemo, I have had further consultation with my oncologist today. He is going to discuss my scan with gynae/ liver team and has asked pathology to test tumour for braca. (already had blood tested and it was negative after surgery. )I would like second opinion now so if anyone has any suggestions I would be most grateful. My current care is in Newcastle at Freeman Hospital and my oncologist is excellent but I feel I need a second opinion at this point as am young, ish, fit , newly retired and just bought a puppy😂❤️.

If you feel strongly about getting a 2nd opinion would say get one, of anything just to see your mind at ease.

Thank you. Am not even sure I do feel strongly but more that I should to cover all bases! X

My oncologist is Dr Susana Banarjee, she leads gynaeloigical research at the Marsden and is excellent, I would highly recommend for second opinion but is long way from Newcastle. Maybe there is some one at Christie's?
