Hello, I had a similar ca125 for over a year before a recurrence was obvious and symptomatic. Try to enjoy your time off, get outside and see people you want to see and try (I know it’s hard) not to worry xx
Hi, I restarted chemo 3 months after Avastin stopped. I agree with Lyndy try to enjoy your time and live in the moment as much as you can( easier said than done). I had quite a lot of bone ache and stiffness from Avastin and that goes xxz
I too have PPC and have had the same treatment as yourself in addition to surgery. I am awaiting my 10th Avastin of 18. So have a suspicion I maybe in the same seat as you not too soon. Avastin has really impacted on my general well being. The fatigue has been very difficult. Sounds like they still have weapons in their armoury which is good. I wish you well and try and enjoy your break from treatment through the summer.x
This watch and wait plan seemed like no plan at all to me so I sought a second and then a third opinion. I am now on a PARP inhibitor called Niraparib which is for non BRCA people. It was approved for the NHS to fund in January this year. Dont know if it will work or if my body will stand up to it but at least it feels like a positive plan. Watch and wait just feels like limbo. I hated it. All best wishes to you x
