HAVEN'T WRITTEN IN A LONG TIME. JUST HAD A PET SCAN AND GRATEFUL EVERYTHING SEEMS GOOD. I'M STILL ON OLAPARIB AND HAVE NOTICED THAT THE SIDE EFFECTS HAVE DIMINISHED GREATLY. SO IF ANY OF YOU ARE JUST STARTING, DON'T BE DISCOURAGED, YOUR BODY DOES SEEM TO ADJUST TO IT BUT IT TAKES A LITTLE TIME.

I have been on Olaparib for last two months and I feel nauseated most of the time and there’s some weird taste in my mouth. Is it normal ? Also I heard that we have to avoid certain fruits while taking Olaparib. Can anyone please highlight on this. Thank you
I THINK IT'S VALENCIA ORANGES AND GRAPEFRUIT. I WOULD DOUBLE CHECK ON THE INSERT OR BOTTLE. IT DOES TAKE TIME BUT YOU WILL NOTICE THE SIDE EFFECTS DIMINISHING OVER TIME. HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER!!
Thank you so much for this post.....I needed to hear this. I've just started and on day 4, been feeling awful with nausea, tension headache and fatigue. Your post has encouraged me to persevere.
Hiya mupash, thanks for this but I am on my second cycle and I have to deal with lots of fatigue, nausea and loss of appetite. I already suffer with my bowel and Olaparib has made it worse. But it looks like you have overcome and it's great to know. Hope I can feel the same.
So good to read your positive post! Everything I read encourages those on Olaparib to drink a lot of water each day so I am doing that! Wondering if you are taking 600mg/day? Blessings!!
