I did but I think it was the high dose of steroids
Ask your CSN
Thanks. Will do that.
Yes, absolutely. Initially I was treated for infections, though tests for this proved negative, even though antibiotics cured the issues!
I had periods of incontinence and kept antibiotics by me at all times to alleviate the problem.
After being examined by a urologist, who could find nothing wrong with my bladder or kidneys, I was prescribed Vesicare tablets and I take one whenever I have a flare up. This is usually about every one of two months. I am pleased to say that they work after a couple of hours, then I am fine until the next time.

Hi, many thanks for reply. Will have to get this checked out as happening more often.

Hi yes I have it’s been investigated seems to be the radio therapy I had as well as chemo now have over active bladder about to get treatment for it.
Thank you.
An overactive bladder is to be expected as it is important after chemo to flush your system. My Onc wanted me to drink 3litres of water besides tea and coffee. I found this quite hard to do. It will get better with time but use the reference library - your Oncologists brain.
Yes I had this unexpectedly during my first chemo - effect gradually wore off during ensuing days - forewarned is forearmed for each subsequent chemo I wore really big incontinence pads so sorted it - it happened with each chemo but the effects wore off fairly quickly - the sensation was quite different to an infection - good luck
Thank you. Wearing pads at night but may have to use more often.
2nd of 4th line chemo with a new chemo to me so may be a factor.
Janet
Yes - I think everything has ‘dropped’, so more pressure/urgency!
Thank you.
