Off Lable Drugs

Advice needed pleaseI have clear cell ovarian cancer stage 2b . I had my debulking surgery 4 weeks ago & chemo is booked for 23rd March. I am very interested in off label drugs as well. Having read Janes book , on her Facebook page she posted a ‘map’ for OCCC.

The problem I have is I would need expert advice and monitoring of these drugs. I live In North Birmingham. Also there are so many drugs, it would be what to take when...

Any advice welcomed thank you.

In case of any use to you in the future I have clear cell stage 3 c and am on the drug AZD 6738 which is an ATR inhibitor. I am on the Patriot trial but the drug is also being trialled in combination with Olaparib in the Atari trial. Hopefully you won’t need it but always good to have plans for the future just in case.

Hi, I have read Jane's book and others. I have had four chemo's and am awaiting surgery. I have for the past few weeks adapted a vegetarian diet (I was never much of a meat eater anyway) and felt really well. However, when I went for pre-op assessment, my haemoglobin and platelets were low and the operation postponed. So I have to wait another week or two for them to come back up. Whether its the diet or chemo or both that have caused this, I don't know. So back to meat etc and hopefully the counts will be better next week. Although, I do want to re-start the diet and take supplements, but will wait until the surgery and my last two chemo's are complete and will speak to my Oncologist about it. x.
