Another CT Scan

I saw my consultant on Monday and she said that to go from a CA125 of 36 to 91 in two months is of concern. So I’m going to have a CT scan in a couple of weeks and another blood test next week.

I’m getting quite a lot of pain in my pelvis, a bit like period pain and also sharp pains under my ribs which is a bit odd. I Have to admit to being worried now in case it back somewhere.

Can’t stop worrying about the what ifs, you you will all know what that’s like. Any advice much appreciated, thanks xx

All I can say is I wish you well. I know what you are feeling. Mine have never been lower than 98 & over 13 months are now 1500. I had another round of treatment when it was at 700 but it had no affect at all. I am now on eptoside tablets. Hopefully they will kick some of the numbers & what the scan revealed down.. I didn't really feel any discomfort either other than the normal anxiety that many of us often experience..

Thank you for your reply, I hope your tablets work really well for you and your numbers drop.

I’m learning that this horrid disease is as much about the mind and battling the anxiety as it is about beating the cancer. Big hugs to you 🤗 xx
