we just get CT scan, it shows little bit bigger lymph as at 11.11.2021 in some parts, that why ca 125 go so fast in 3.5 month from 25 to 110? what will offer doctor? look and wait or chemo? what do you think

we are from Latvia, i try to translate in google conclusion:

The patient is known to have Ca ovari. The condition after combination therapy-lymphadenopathy in the small pelvis, more pronounced along the left pelvic vessels, as well as separate punctate lymph nodes in the hepatic portal area and at the left adrenal gland.

Compared to the previous study with a slight negative dynamics, the lymph nodes have slightly increased in size.

Dilated right ureter.

Well that seems a little better than you thought perhaps? It also explains why she doesn’t have symptoms… the growth isn’t big enough to cause issues. In UK they would probably watch and wait until symptoms appear.

Treatment is probably chemo, sometimes it might be operable or they can treat with radiotherapy but lymph nodes are difficult to find and isolate.

Go along and hear what the oncologist suggests… but don’t forget to have a nice time with your Mum … life isn’t all about cancer xx

it is so hard to think about anything else, i just get some conversation with her she was not so happy to see such fast progess :( and YES she said sit and wait 2 month what will be, will it be bigger and will it rise and so on afetr 2 month CT scan and if there is progress make chemo as she said yes she is platinum resistant and there doesnt metter when to start chemo as it will be later as better. she said she cant get not ill just chemo chemo chemo... realyy? but sometimes there must be reimissions?

In your mum's case, 'remissions' will be just be the gaps in between courses of chemo. Make the most of those gaps, that's when she (and you) should be making the most of life. It doesn't seem like she needs chemo straightaway, she's got at least a few weeks of normal life yet till she does. Many of us are in the same situation, its more living with cancer than trying to get rid of it altogether.

Doctor said wait 2 month than again CT that true, but it is hard to understand when first remission was 4 years we thought now will have at least 1-2 years free i never ever thought that she will ne platinum resistant from first recurrance :(((

It's unfortunate she is platinum resistant so soon, but its not unusual at all. There are other, non platinum based chemotherapies available. Good she had 4 years remission initially - I only got just under a year after chemo.

Best wishes

The b in stage 2b in your mum's case means it was in the lymph nodes - sadly, that often means it comes back I'm afraid. If it had been just Stage 2, less likely to return. Mine is stage 4b, diagnosed 4 years ago. Just try to make the most of the healthier times your mum has... with periodic treatment, she likely has a lot more time, its not the end yet.

If you believed it had gone forever, I can see why you;re so distressed, but cancer is an unpredictable thing. As for the CA125, mine was 86 at diagnosis, down to 30 after surgery, 1180 when I had chemo last year, and 638 when I started chemo again before Christmas... CA125 is a guide, but its not that reliable.

Yes sure as doctor said 95% all will be ok, but… my moms now is 110, CT scan shows some lymph little bit bigger as on last scan but no other mts yet that why doctor offer to wait 2 month and make one more ct scan

I hope this is not the end, as she now really feels very ok, i hope it will be like this long time and next treatment will give at least 6’month or more remission, i heared such also with platinum reistant, i heared also that sometimes they try to come back to platinum and it work again…

Exactly; as long as you accept the cancer's not going anywhere, and that it will be treated like an ongoing illness, with periodic treatment. She could go on for years yet, don't lose hope🙂
