Hello I’ve just joined this forum today. Had surgery 2 weeks ago with everything removed. Today saw consultant and had diagnosis of stage 2 clear cell cancer.
Very scared, and waiting to have chemotherapy. Anyone else know anything about this diagnosis please

Clear cell apparently shows as clear cells under the microscope. If caught at stages 1 and 2 it generally has a good prognosis. It is more rare than high grade serous - about 4% of ovarian cancers are clear cell but in Japan it is 25%. Clear cell often does not respond to chemotherapy but I have read many posts from ladies who have had good responses. There are 2 clinical trials for clear cell that I know of: the peacocc trial which is immunotherapy and the Atari trial which is for the ATR inhibitor AZD 6738 plus Olaparib.
