Hi

Anyone survived having ovarian cancer to brain. Had multiple recurrences over past 9 years but always got through them fine. This one has gone to brain and an due chemo in a few weeks. Looking for positive stories as feeling nervous. Told not curative but palliative.

This is a dreaded situation,

But I have spoken to others on this site who found treatment that worked.

Often after a second opinion.

Go back and put:

Brain Metastases

In the search box and you will find at least one.

I can only offer best wishes, but the added, seek second opinion,

And if course:

Don’t give up the fight!

Hugs,

Laura

Gamma knife radiation is highly targeted and can be used to kill lesions. It is far better for you than whole brain radiation, which can cause much damage to entire brain.

Unfortunately not gamma for me. Just had the whole brain radio

I was diagnosed stage 2b in 2007. Had 6 recurrences. Now have brain mets. Have been put on Rucaparib. My consultant phoned yesterday and said all nodules are smaller in my abdomen and brain. Morag
