Update on My Mom ❤️

My mom had her 8th of 8th infusion of taxol/Carbo today and I’m just hoping this really does the trick. She met with surgical oncologist today and he informed us that he’s not 100% confident the last nodule on her liver is cancer. He said he thinks it is inflammation from the debunking surgery when he removed nodules, but better safe then sorry. He ca125 is 10 and thinks it’s just best she had these two extra infusions. He hopes she will be in remission for a very long time. As do I. I commend all you ladies - suffering so very much. Only hoping for the best for everyone, this is just so unbelievably painful and you ladies are keeping me positive ❤️ Thank you as always. Hoping the scan in July only shows no evidence of disease and god willingly we put this nightmare behind us. Mom is scheduled to go back to work in August! She misses her patients and wants to end her career on her terms not cancers! And I agree - hopefully she’ll retire sometime next year not due to cancer but because she has a grandchild on the way 🙏🏽

That’s great news. I hope she gets all her energy back soon, although August seems quite soon after chemo to return to work...
