Blood results

I had my blood results back but don't really understand them the only things that are marked as abnormal are

progesterone is <1 nmol/L

Monocyte count is 1.09

RBC is 5.27

And total white cell count is 11.08

They haven't done a ca-125 but was wondering what other people's results were for ovarian cancer I have my scan on Wed 15th may I have read that the monocyte count if high can indicate cancer

Hi Lotty

As far as I know the ca125 is the only indicator and even that isn’t very reliable. I know you want answers but don’t drive yourself mad reading trying to read into results that don’t tell you anything. I wonder why they didn’t do a ca125? You could ask them that. Best of luck with your scan! xx

Are you seeing a oncologist for your tests ? They usually order a ca125 .

Thanks for your replies I'm seeing the gynae at the min as they aren't sure what's going on till I get all my results as I said I have my ultrasound on Wednesday then go back for the results on the 29th last July my periods stopped all together I was sent for an ultrasound in November the said I had a 3.5cm simple cyst the didn't send me for another scan but my symptoms got worse so went back and she finally referred me the the gynae she sent me for bloods, swabs and an ultrasound
