There's the American Cancer Survivor's Network at csn.cancer.org/
There are forums for many forms of cancer.
Thank you Isadora I will try this. Have you tried it,and is it good? I am very low at the moment and would love some advice on how you cope when you get like this if you do and also I seem to have lots of time on my hands and wondered how otherscope? Many tnanks.

I watch the USA network out of interest - haven't contributed as yet.
Yes, I get low sometimes, but the solution for me is to go out and do something. I have dogs, so walking them, gardening, or taking up a new 'thing' you've not had time to do before cancer. Mine was tennis which I love, but haven't played for years. I'm rubbish, but I really enjoy it and it helps with fitness. I found that after chemo I had tendonitis in every joint in my body, so it was tempting to stop doing anything physical, but I just kept on with ice packs and working through it, and now I'm less crippled each time!!
The key is to open new doors if you can - take up a course of study, read, engage with something that makes you feel better about yourself. If you can, find someone to talk to about how you feel- your nurse specialist, perhaps? Talking changes the internal to the external, and lets you change how you feel.
Best wishes,
I.
Thanks Isadora I have just bought a swimming costume as I lost a lot of weight so I will get back to doing that. I have an old dog and take him for walks. I certainly feel being outside helps.
You are a real trouper and I will take heart from you.
I have started writing to get my worries out and I am seeing a specialist nurse soon. Thanks for your helpful advice.
Best wishes

Hi Clematis, I have come across this site which looks quite similar to ours, just bigger: inspire.com. Good luck x
